Domingo Sarmiento, en el centro el valor del billete y a la derecha se encuentra el escudo nacional el sol significa el nacimiento de una nueva nación, el ovalo se remonta al concepto medieval de la perfección, los laureles se asocian a la gloria , protección y triunfo a partir de la mitología griega, las cintas celestes y blancas representan a la República Argentina, las manos enlazadas significan la unión de los pueblos de las antiguas Provincias del Río de la Plata, la pica es una lanza que representa la disposición a defender la patria con armas si fuera necesario, el gorro frigio es el emblema de la libertad, dicho escudo se encuentra rodeado de banderas y en la parte superior el sol.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Reverso &lt;br /&gt;En el centro del billete se puede ver a un gaucho a caballo este representa la  libertad, tradición y costumbre, la clase popular; el caballo para el gaucho era insustituible para los quehaceres y andanzas a lo largo de la patria. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;En ambos costados se puede ver el valor del billete.</text>
